Every marketing situation is unique. No two businesses have the same goals and needs. As an end-to-end solutions provider, Scala Digital Signage builds flexibility into our digital signage solutions. Below are a few examples of amazing custom signage projects that some of our many clients worldwide have created through our digital signage software:
Novartis Pharmaceuticals Uses Digital Signage to Communicate With Employees
Working with Scala, Novartis recently implemented a digital sign network that connected the 15 buildings of its East Hanover, NJ campus. Running over Novartis’ local IP infrastructure, the signs keep employees up to date on company news, employee benefits and special events. The network consists of eighteen 40” Mitsubishi screens positioned in building lobbies, break rooms and cafeterias.
Prior to launching the network, foam core posters were placed throughout the buildings, which was cumbersome and expensive. Employees tended to ignore the posters, since the information was often outdated or irrelevant. Since implementing the digital signage, the cost of designing and printing posters was reduced by 90%, and the expense of distributing and disposing of the foam posters was eliminated entirely.
Tommy Hilfiger Uses Digital Signage to Create Innovative Shopping Experiences
Recognizing the power of digital communications, fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger uses digital signage in its Dusseldorf, Germany flagship location. Digital signage was installed in various locations through the store, including windows and entrances to attract the attention of passersby on the street. In addition to runway models featuring the latest Tommy Hilfiger designs, the interactive digital signage helps customers find their way around the store. There’s also music, current weather information, and a stream of emerging trends on Twittter and other social media platforms
Viking Cruise Line Goes Digital Onboard
Viking had been printing more than 2,000 sheets of paper daily to disseminate information among its passengers, which was both expensive and an environmental concern. Since partnering with Scala and implementing a multi-channel onboard digital signage system, printing and disposal costs have been reduced dramatically. Viking also uses digital signage to promote sales of duty-free goods, which have increased significantly since the system was launched. Touch screens throughout the ship let passengers check restaurant hours and menus, entertainment schedules and conference information. Viking plans to extend its use of digital signage to its terminals.
Phoenix Toyota Dealership Incorporates Scala Digital Signage Into its New Facility
Camelback Toyota’s newly remodeled 65,000 square foot showroom and adjacent 62,000 square foot service facility were designed with its customers in mind. Working with Scala, the dealership created a seven channel digital network that keeps its customers informed and entertained while they shop for cars or wait while their cars are being serviced. Flat-screen HDTVs throughout the lounge and showroom feature content on the latest models and accessories, service specials and environmental and energy-saving measures instituted by the dealership.
