Your access to updates is determined by the Scala Maintenance expiration date.
All Scala products include one year of Scala Maintenance when first purchased. You will need to purchase additional years of Scala Maintenance after the first year. You can find your Scala Maintenance Support expire date for Content Manager by going to Settings > License Status, or for your Designer by going to Help > About Scala Designer.
If your Scala Maintenance date is later than today you are eligible for downloading Scala updates from one of the Scala download sites.
Customers can download the current Scala releases from the public web site at https://license.scala.com/downloadcenter/. Key in your Designer or Content Manager serial number.
Scala Partners can download from the Scala Partner web site at http://scp.scala.com/. From the main page select Scala 5 Updaters.
If your Scala Maintenance date has expired, please contact your Scala Certified Partner for information on renewing your Scala Maintenance subscription.
