Mdina Media, leader in Digital Signage embedded solutions, has a new series of products to show during the ISE 2013 at the Scala stand. In Hall 10 at Stand N1219, Mdina Media will showcase its new QS-Series with AMD Embedded R-Series Platform on board.
The new series is based on AMD’s ultimate Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) technology that combines high-performance processing capabilities with discrete-class AMD Radeon™ HD 7000G-Series graphics. In a nutshell, the models range from a type base from QS1000 to QS7000. The QS1000, Mdina’s first base model, is provided with the AMD A70M controller hub. The QS2000 and QS3000 both feature the AMD A75 controller hub, the QS2000 can additionally be equipped with a discrete AMD Radeon E6760 GPU to boost graphic capabilities. The QS4000 is a fanless player with 4 independent display outputs that uses the low power consuming AMD Embedded R-460L APU (TDP of 25 W) element. 7 independent display outputs are available on the QS5000, which also integrates an AMD Radeon E6760 GPU. The QS6000 is a tailor-made product that can be easily attached to the back side of a screen. Mdina Media’s product portfolio is completed by the QS700; it is the smallest eTrinity-AMD Embedded R-Series player in the world, which is also able to support next generation LED screens. Four of these models are Scala Certified Players.
