At 18 and 19 September Scala attended dmexco, digital marketing exposition & conference in Cologne (Germany). Scala showed their newest innovations at the stand of the BVDW, a German organization for digital business and interactive marketing. About 24.000 visitors from 75 countries visited dmexco trade fair and their 720 exhibitors, who came from all over the globe. At the conference an award-wining keynote and panel program featured executives from all relevant leading brands and companies. Scala welcomed many partners and end users who were very enthusiastic about Scala’s solutions, especially for retail, banking & finance, quick service restaurants and corporate communications. Also Scala demonstrated their innovation Fling, an application that “flings” video from a tablet to a large screen.
Ideas, products and communication processes are driven digitally today, whereby the digital business is becoming considerably more complex as a result of the increasingly fragmented and at the same time more and more interconnected world. The challenges of the digital industry are obvious: The buzzword “digital” alone no longer suffices to convince the customer! The potential and the concrete benefits for marketing, media and communications have to be clearly demonstrated and applicable for the day-to-day operations! Dmexco was the right place to address this theme and has set a clear sign with its motto for 2013: “Turning Visions into Reality”.
In 2013 dmexco impressively underlined its position as THE leading international expo and conference for the entire digital industry. Placing a clear focus on marketing, media and technology, in the digital era the dmexco is the no. 1 global platform for all pioneers and opinion-leaders of the brands, for the advertisers and marketers as well as for all agency segments and media companies – and is leading the global digital industry. A perfect place for Scala to show why it’s the global leader in digital communications.
