Scala Drives New KIA Brand Identity In Russia

Major decade-long brand reinvention by KIA Motors Russia made possible by Scala digital communication platform

SITTARD, The Netherlands — 9 July 2018 — Scala, part of the STRATACACHE family of digital media/marketing technology companies, has supported a major rebranding of KIA Motors Russia (KMR), which saw dealerships across the length and breadth of the country roll out Scala’s digital communication platform to improve sales and marketing aimed at KIA end users.

At the heart of the new KIA dealerships is Scala digital signage, driving communications through multiscreen video walls, standalone displays and interactive kiosks. A total of 180 dealerships are now equipped with 540 Scala media players, driving over 500 different sized LG screens connected to the central KiaTV broadcasting system.

“The Scala digital signage network allows us to share the latest product, sales, aftersales and brand image information to KIA customers,” said Pavel Balan, dealer marketing at KMR. “Scala quickly scaled from driving a small number of passive monitors to allowing us to centrally manage a vast array of passive and touch screens across the whole of the Russian territory.”

All new KMR dealerships across Russia are now equipped with a Scala-driven digital signage solution, and it’s standard requirement for all new dealers joining the network. The entire network is managed from the KMR office in Moscow and broadcasts five different content channels across the dealer network onto screens located in various service areas. In addition, ticker line functionality is used to share social media content via live feeds, combined with corporate and product news.

Scala digital signage has enabled KMR to deliver quality content in a timely manner to its end users, building trust and deeper relationships through digital communication. Screen content across the network is defined by KMR; however, the full service delivery for managing all content for the network is done by Dismart.
