As a Technical Reliability Engineer, you will build on the reliability and stability of our services. You play a key role in securing and transferring knowledge and are involved in the stability and support of our customer and cloud environments.

Your mission: a carefree operation

You are the bridge between our cloud management team and support organization. Your core mission is to ensure overall system reliability and maximize the availability of our solutions through optimized processes.

Your tasks fall under two main pillars:

  • Operational Onboarding: Ensuring that cloud solutions and services are managed and monitored as efficiently as possible and in a manageable manner. You do this through intensive knowledge retention and transfer to the support teams. In addition, you actively contribute to both technical and support processes
  • Continuous Improvement: You independently implement improvements to our existing, large-scale customer networks in the field of monitoring, alerting and automation, among other things. Your goal: to prevent incidents and minimize any downtime

Your key responsibilities

  • Support strategy & optimization: You are looking for the most efficient way to actively manage cloud solutions. You analyze how the support for the services can best be organized and implement the necessary structures to ensure stability and manageability
  • Incident & Bug Management: You proactively test new software versions and cloud solutions and are in the lead when major failures occur. In addition, you independently draw up Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports when major failures occur. You report bugs independently to different development teams
  • Network monitoring: You play an important role in ensuring and keeping large customer networks up and running and actively monitor for problems such as: system performance, network problems and error rates
  • Escalations: You will act as a technical expert for our support teams and answer questions from the various teams on a daily basis

  • Solution-oriented: You find it a sport to detect problems in complex technical solutions, to isolate them and to contribute to structural improvements
  • Focus on efficiency and stability: You have a natural understanding of how developed services and functionalities can be managed as efficiently and robustly as possible
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud solutions
  • AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate or equivalent certificate is a must
  • Experience with Amazon CloudWatch or Azure Monitor
  • Team player and connector: You work in a small, close-knit team and are a curious, connecting person who likes to share knowledge and wants to continuously develop yourself at HBO or WO level (computer science or similar) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of ITIL is an advantage

Selection criteria:

  • HBO/WO level (computer science or similar) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is necessary (AWS is strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Amazon CloudWatch / Azure Monitor is a must
  • AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate or equivalent certificate is a must
